東京メトロは10月3日から14日まで、東京メトログッズを2点以上購入した人を対象に50名を「新橋駅 幻のホーム見学会」へ招待する。「幻のホーム」とは、1939年の1月から8か月間だけ営業に使用されたホームで、現在は夜間の列車留置に使用されており、通常は非公開となっているという。
